Objectives
TRUSSES uses West Point Bridge
Builder to construct supports for
a bridge.
Name graphic "trusses".
These supports are usually
composed of beams and girders,
often made of steel or wood.
They take the
form of a triangle or combination of
triangles. The design creates
the greatest rigidity. Trusses are
used for large spans and heavy loads.
