Design a tower out of two 8.5" by 11" sheets of paper. Pupils may work in groups of two to three and merge their material (two sheets per person)
Name_photo "towers."
Towers are made of standard size material, for this activity, floors that are 1/8 and colmns 1/32 of an 8.5" by 11" page.
The objects of the activity is to introduce construction concepts, and through hands-on projects, reinforce those ideas. Portions of a standard sized paper is used to understand fractions of a whole.
