Google Sketch

This Lesson

Download and install Google Sketch.
SkyCity Name_graphic_"SkyCity".

Place GoogleSketch on the desktop. Students will explore this program to design a 3D city.

Their work may be stored to their folder in GoogleSketch format, but the end result is screen-captured and saved through the PAINT program as a JPG named "SkyCity", which will show up on your Technology Page. Colors, shape, text, and other modifications may be made in PAINT before saving.

STANDARDS
Duration: 90 minutes
Grades 5-8
Students demonstrate creative thinking, construct knowledge, and develop innovative products and processes using technology ... by using engineering software to design a 3D object. (Iste 1)
Students use technology tools to enhance learning, increase productivity, and promote creativity (through designing a plot plan). (Iste 3)
